They're in the process of renovating the interior and so far it's looking great. While I successfully converted my family into loving Papa Romano's deep dish pizzas (so that I could stuff my face with bambino bread), the past few times it just wasn't cutting it for me. HH is much closer and much cheaper. Obviously, the originator of the flavored crust pizza, and oh my how often I used to order from them when I was younger. I always get the butter cheese crust and it's finger licking good. I like their pizza, especially their crust, and their wings are pretty good, too. The bread on the other hand... horrible. I find Howie Bread disgusting. Too much seasoning that doesn't mix well t and don't taste all that great. Even their cheesy bread seems to be getting more seasoning than necessary. The pizza is great, though. Kind of greasy, totally delicious. The prices have always been reasonable, but they've definitely tried to keep up with Little Caesar's promotions and it seems to be working very well for them. Staff have always been friendly and nice, and the only time I had any issues was on Super Bowl Sunday... I had to 'wait'. That wasn't surprising.

Ordered "The Works" deep dish pizza with sriracha crust and extra sauce. It was so soggy we had to use forks. Couldn't taste the sriracha. I've ordered extra sauce from Jet's and never gotten soggy pizza I have had Hungry Howie's once before and it was good so I may give it another chance, without the extra sauce, and see how that goes. Still, only two stars for our box of goo. The employee was very nice, online ordering was easy, and I didn't have to wait when I got there.

Good for a chain, but they over season the hell out of the crust. Almost not edible. It's good drinking food for delivery.

This is a go-to place for us when we are in a pinch and can't make dinner. The pizza is consistently very good and very hot. We haven't been disappointed yet. Also, they always seem to be slammed when I am there (which is a good indicator of whether their food is good or not).
